The Best First Step to Achieving My Big Dream

 

Hello let me introduce myself first. My name is Mulya Fajar Ningsih Alwi and you can call me Ninis. I am a first semester student at President University in the 2020 batch of Information Technology majoring.

Actually, at first I was just enrolling in this university to try my luck. I applied without knowing the ins and outs of this university. Initially I only saw from my junior high school friend's instagram story about the Jababeka scholarship, I was interested in the scholarship. Finally, I tried to apply for the Jababeka scholarship. After a few days I got an email saying I got a 75% scholarship to study at President University. After getting an email from President University, I try to find out about President University.

From the search results, I found that President University is one of the universities with international standards in Indonesia. I also found several advantages of President University compared to other universities such as using the international curriculum and English as the language of instruction, having students from various countries not only Indonesia, graduating faster for undergraduate students, more secure student careers through internships, providing a lot undergraduate scholarships for prospective new students, after graduating many internship offers and scholarships abroad, can get the opportunity to take part in the Student Exchange Program abroad, have complete and luxurious facilities because they are in an industrial area and of course can be enjoyed by all President University students, building the entrepreneurial spirit of its students with various materials and business practices, and also President University has various partnerships of multinational companies and universities both domestically and abroad. Even so, President University is a private university and not quite well known in Indonesia.

Regardless of the strengths and weaknesses of President University, I still believe that joining President University is the best choice and destiny in my life and it's the right first step to realizing my big dream.

And why I also choose Information Technology major because I feel this department has wide job opportunities in the future besides that this department is related to technology which is very much needed today even for the next few years because the development of technology in the world is getting faster and more sophisticated from day to day and of course, experts in technology will be needed at present and in the future. If we master in technology field and also its development, we can make money from various fields because almost all fields require technology today. Even so, we must remain consistent to keep abreast of existing technological developments and be willing to continue to learn and increase knowledge.

I have gained so much experience while being a student at President University and also a student majoring in Information Technology from the last four months or so. I am an early semester student so I'm really trying to adapt to my new environment, especially I have to try harder to improve my English skills. So many things that I got from being a part of President University, one of them is my ability to speak English is more trained than before, besides that I also gained a lot of knowledge on how to be a good young businesswoman or beginner.

Those are some of the reasons why I choose President University and also majoring in Information Technology. Hopefully it can be useful and also inspire and motivate those of you who read my writing. Thank you for you who taking your time to read my writing.
